Christmas Markets in Hamburg

6 December 2018

Grab your scarf, hat and gloves and let’s go – the Christmas market season has started. We’ve put together our favorite Christmas markets in Hamburg to make the most of your stay at Ruby Lotti.

This is definitely our most favorite christmas market in Hamburg. Not just because it is directly next to our Lotti, but also because to us, it’s the most cozy one. And if you drink more mulled wine than you should, at least the way back to the Lotti is really short.

Mulled wine, punch and gingerbread: our favorites but yet something one can get at every Christmas market. Still, this one is more than that. Winterpride is tolerant  and the biggest gay-lesbian Christmas market in the North of Germany. We recommend going if you want to see something different and experience the best atmosphere of all Christmas markets.
    Lange Reihe 2, 20099 Hamburg, November 26th – December 30th (closed December 24-26th), Daily from 12am-10pm

This Christmas market is organized by Roncalli and takes place under the motto “art instead of commerce”. And they do not promise to much. Go and experience yourself what this exceptional Christmas market is all about.
    Rathausmarkt, November 26th – December 23rd, Daily from 11 am-9pm, Fri-Sat until 10pm

Small, charming and with a Scandinavian flair. This Christmas market in St. Pauli is less burstling than many others, but still as beautiful as the others. Also you can enjoy a versatile program. For young and old something is offered: DJs, sofa concerts, puppet stage, curling, clowns and a children’s carousel.
    Neuer Kamp 31, 20359 Hamburg, December 12th – 23rd, Daily from 12am-9pm, Sun only until 8pm
