HUNDERTWASSERTAGE – A special artsy pop-up store hosted by the KUNST HAUS WIEN and dedicated to the famous Friedensreich Hundertwasser will be moving into the Ruby Marie Event Space for one week.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser was a Viennese artist, especially famous for his popular design of some houses, known as Hundertwasser houses, in Vienna. His trademark was, without question, his unique art style where he combined lots of colors, materials and shapes. As a special homage to Friedensreich Hundertwasser the KUNST HAUS WIEN will be exhibiting and selling a variety of artsy Hundertwasser stuff, including posters, books, photo editions and lots more.

As part of the pop-up store week, the KUNST HAUS WIEN will be presenting the DVD release of a restored version of the Hundertwassers Regentag film, a short film from 1971. The film will be screened every day during this week in the Ruby Marie Movie Lounge, with an extra special event. On the 22nd of November at 6pm a public discussion will be taking place, in addition to the film screening, in the Ruby Marie Bar with the film production.

100 x Hundertwasser, the book by Caro Wiesauer will be presented on the 24th of November at 7pm. It is a book reflecting on the life and work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, one of the most famous artists of the 20th century. Come by at the store and listen to the reading!
